It is our mission at Helping Individuals Succeed (H.I.S) Agency to provide training and resources to children and their families that will promote education, literacy, employability and the enhancement of social skills leading to expanded opportunities for productive lives.

Our programs are fun and interactive and designed to teach students the benefits of respectful behavior, leadership skills and a knowledge of correct dining etiquette. The curriculum varies by age group and can be customized by the parents or organizations.

Due to an overwhelming response for techniques to relieve stress in our young ladies 11-14, beginning on February 25th , we will host bi-monthly Stress~2~ Success Workshops to help them reduce the many stressors in their lives. Event hosted at Redford Branch Library from 1-3p.m.

Going from a pre-teen to a teen was rough, but it was TRULY only by the Grace of God and One Pearl that I made it through to see 19! There were times where I felt like giving up, I felt like I had no where to turn, there were times I just didn’t know! But one thing I did know was, I had my girls in One Pearl and Mrs. Sharpley to lean on and turn to!
